Members may borrow any of the society’s more than 130 DVDs without charge. They include many of the best British, American and foreign fims from the past few years, and some classics of cinema.
The DVDs will now be displayed in the Sudeley Room (the one with the kitchen) from 7 until 7.25pm before screenings. See librarian Sue Silverthorne or Brenda Cove there. After 7.25 the DVDs will be returned to store, so please be early.
It’s still best to browse the titles in advance at www.imdb.com/list/ls048727386/ where you can see summaries and trailers for them all.
It’s not necessary to reserve films in advance, but you can do so if you wish by emailing email@example.com. Otherwise you can just choose them on the night.
All films must be borrowed directly from the librarian, who will record names of borrowers.
Members can borrow up to three films for one month. The DVDs must be returned at the following meeting, but if members are unlikely to attend they should be posted in the meantime through the letterboxes of any of: Colin, 16 Riverside, Winchcombe GL54 5JP; Paul, Union Cottage, Back Lane, Winchcombe GL54 5QJ; Brenda, Meadow Lea, Langley Road, Winchcombe GL54 5QP.
