WFS Library

Our library has been expanded with the addition of more than 30 great new and classic films, thanks in part to donations by supporters.

When meetings resume, members will be able to choose any three of the society’s now 166 DVDs on display, and return them at the following meeting. There is no charge. Before then, we hope to resume the Reels on Wheels free delivery service.

Latest additions include Olivia Coleman’s Oscar-winning performance in The Favourite, social dramas like The Farewell and The Kindergarten Teacher, the acclaimed war drama Hotel Rwanda, and biopics Stan and Ollie, Behind the candelabra (Liberace) and Yuli (ballet dancer Carlos Acosta, the 11th child of a poor family in Cuba) classics from Metropolis to Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy and a pick of foreign language films as The White Ribbon and the momentous Russian Ark.

There’s a huge range, from After love to Zama. You can see a full list of all titles available, with synopses and video trailers by clicking on this link: www.imdb.com/list/ls048727386/
